Tried this place for the first time. Wanted to eat healthy so I asked for teriyaki sauce on the side and steamed veggies instead of rice. Very happy with the food and service. Will come again. The dining room is clran, casual and perfect for lunch.

Really good and affordable. Double the size of a mcdonalds burger and actually good. Fresh lettuce. Crispy but not burnt bacon. Good sauce. Big patty. Probably a medium or maybe a large mcdonalds size fry and a snapple. All for under 15. Im not usually one to eat out/get fast food due to cost and experience, but this will be my spot here on. The service was amazing, the lady behind the counter was really sweet and patient with me. The eating area was comfortable

Honestly, we weren't too sure going into this place, but after arriving, and as soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with an excellent atmosphere and friendly welcome by the wonderful staff behind the counter and a very easy to read menu! I had an awesome tasting cheeseburger as it was on the menu, and my wife had a terrific teriyaki BBQ chicken with gyoza and rice. Both were fantastic entrees and exceeded our expectations. The seating arrangements were easy and accommodating. Plenty of space at the bar space, window seating, and tables for some relaxing vibes for average meal enjoyers. The pricing was also extremely fair, and there were plenty of options on the menu for food and drinks. Parking was easily accessible to all and fairly abundant in front of the restaurant. If I was a local, I'd go here regularly and am sad I can't. What a great place. The Goofy Goose is on our favorites list. 5 stars all around from me.

This place is a Tacoma classic! Been here since 1964 I believe! Their food is wonderful and just having the choice between a burger and teriyaki is so fun. It had a recent update I think and it looks great! The staff are so pleasant and very friendly. I always get some sort of yakisoba with chicken! Great portion size! Their malt shakes are top notch as well! Check them out next time you’re in Tacoma!

Returned to Goofy Goose after viewing menu on Google. So far have had: Chicken Teriyaki, Fish and Chips, the Onion Burger, and Pork Chow Mein. The Chicken Teriyaki had the perfect amount of sauce, chicken tender yet some crispy spots, and the salad dressing my all-time favorite (2 meals from this order). The fish was cooked in 3 thin slices with a breaded batter that didn't have to be drenched in tarter sauce to enjoy with thin French fries that reminded me of my favorite McDonald's fries and everything so delicious which I shared with a friend. I requested that the Onion Burger be just the bun, patty and onions. Stated wanted a "Fair Burger" since haven't had one in years. My request was fulfilled! Pork Chow Mein was not what I wanted which was the Cantonese style of my youth that was probably totally unhealthy. I ate and enjoyed this type of Chow Mein which had excellent sauteed vegetables and rice (3 meals from this order). Am planning to order my favorites and trying new dishes. This is not the Goofy Goose Burger joint of years ago!

We ordered a team lunch with 25 orders that had various add-ons, specifications. Their team went above and beyond! All of our orders were not only correct, but also labeled and boxed. Cold items and hot items were packaged separately (and labeled with the correct names). They helped us carry everything out to our car. Feeling very grateful and I have a team of happy staff munching away on their lunches (with all positive reviews on their orders)! Thank you!

Good Chinese food. Want to try the burgers next time. Highly recommend.
